Every sink we make begins as a solid block of natural stone and ends as a one-of-a-kind piece for your home. Here is the journey.
1. Selecting the block
It starts at the quarries of Anatolia, where we hand-select blocks for colour and veining. Because each block is unique, no two sinks are ever identical — the stone decides the final character of your piece.
2. Cutting and rough shaping
The block is cut to size and the basic form is roughed out. This is where a heavy rectangle of stone first starts to look like a sink.
3. Hollowing and carving
Our craftsmen hollow the basin and carve the details — fluted edges, curved lips, tapered walls — largely by hand. This is the slowest, most skilled stage, and it is what separates a handcarved piece from a mass-produced one.
4. Sanding, polishing and sealing
The surface is sanded through finer and finer grits, then polished or honed to the finish you chose, and finally sealed to protect the stone.
5. Crating and shipping
Each finished sink is packed into a custom wooden crate with foam protection and shipped worldwide, fully insured. From block to your bathroom takes about 3–4 weeks — and you receive photo updates along the way.
