Natural stone sinks are far easier to live with than most people expect. With about five minutes of care a month, marble and travertine last for decades and only get more beautiful.
Everyday cleaning
Wipe the basin with a soft cloth and a little pH-neutral soap and warm water. Rinse and dry. That is it. The most important habit is simply wiping up cosmetics, toothpaste, and anything acidic promptly, so nothing sits on the surface.
What to avoid
Skip anything acidic or abrasive: no vinegar, lemon, bleach, or scouring powders. Acids can etch (dull) polished stone, and abrasives can scratch it. Gentle is always better with natural stone.
Re-seal once or twice a year
Every sink we ship is pre-sealed. To keep it protected, re-apply a stone sealer every 6–12 months — a simple wipe-on, wait, wipe-off product from any hardware store. No professional needed. A quick test: if water stops beading on the surface, it is time to re-seal.
If it stains or etches
Minor marks usually lift with a stone-safe poultice or a light polish. Because your sink is solid stone (not a veneer), small issues can be gently buffed out — another reason natural stone lasts a lifetime.
